Interesting Fact

"Hoichi the Earless". One of Japan's most famous ghost stories is about "Hoichi the Earless", a blind musician who unknowingly performed for the ghosts of fallen samurai. Monks covered his body with sacred writing to protect him, but forgot his ears. According to the legend, the ghosts could only see the ears—and took them.
